The COMET 45 RACE differs from the S version for an even more rigid and lightweight construction in epoxy resin, flush seacocks, composite bulkheads, and capping of the hull structures in carbon, rudder shaft and blade as well as the mast and boom in carbon and the T-keel in spheroidal cast iron and lead torpedo.
INTERIORS:
The interiors are very flexible, and are offered in numerous versions, from two owner's cabins to four cabins, with an "L" shaped kitchen or along the side. The dinette, consisting of a "C" shaped sofa and a bench, has a raised floor that allows for better use of the volumes in width.
The cabins of the Comet 45 are truly airy: at the stern they are twin and have two comfortable beds, considerable free walking space from the cockpit and two really large wardrobes. At the bow there is the owner's cabin, equipped with a bed on the wall and complete with bathroom with separate shower box.
